How to tune your violin
- 1. Start with the A string. Tap start, play your A string, and watch the meter. Move the peg or fine tuner until it reads A and sits in the middle.
- 2. Then D, G and E. Tune each string the same way. Turn the pegs in small moves, and be gentle with the thin E string.
- 3. No microphone? Play a reference note below and match your string to it by ear.
